Ohafia Stakeholders Overwhelmingly Pass Vote Of Confidence On Otti’s Administration, Dissolve OIU National Body.
Last week Saturday a meeting of Ohafia Stakeholders was held in the Okagwe home of Chief Ume Kalu SAN. The current administration of Dr. Alex Otti OFR and Ohafia Improvement Union was appraised.
Present at the meeting were member representating Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal constituency in the House of Representative Chief Ibe Okwara Osonwa, Member representating Ohafia South in the ABIA State House of Assembly, Chief Kalu Nwoke(Etiokwe), GODA DG Engr. Obinna Odum, ASTHMA DG Col. Ezichi Kalu, Former Rep Member Chief D.K Uduma, Former House of Assembly Member/LGA Chairman Chief MBA Ukaha, Coach John Obu, Capt. Awa Agwu, President Generals of different Ohafia Communities, Presidents of different OIU branches, Representatives of Council of Monarchs and Eziogos, Clegies, Politicians and others invited.
It was discussed that Ohafia supported Dr. Alex Otti OFR massively and we are not regretting it because of his good works and the fact that Ohafia has many appointees. The Administration was overwhelmingly applauded.










Hon. Ibe Okwara Osonwa assured the house that the issue of electricity will soon be addressed and that the Governor has given him strong assurance considering the Process of taking over of EEDC is about 95% done.
The group condemned the Activities of Thieves, cultists, drug abuse and other social vices in Ohafia Communities saying we are our own problem.
The group also told the Eziogos and their youth wing to be on guard in the area of security

The group said Ohafia Improvement Union National is in disarray and then went ahead to replace them with an interim committee made up of:
- Chief Fab Uche – Chairman
- Chief Obia.
- OIU president Uyo, Enugu, Umuahia, Enugu, PH, ABUJA, Aba
- Vincent Ukpong – Media
- Barr. Uma Ntima – Lawyer
- Dr. Emmanuel Ukpai ( Nwamba Akanu).
- Chief Emeka MBA(Bam Bam)
Their Terms of Reference was to Conduct election in 6 months
