I LOVE NKPORO COMMUNITY AND WANT TO BE INSTRUMENTAL TO HER FURTHER DEVELOPMENT
… Ikenna Ukwa Says As He Tours Wards In Nkporo Community
The Senior Legislative Aide to the Senate President of Nigeria, Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa has expressed his love for the Nkporo community in Ohafia LGA of Abia State and outlined plans to facilitate projects that will boost economic growth and empower residents.
Hon Ikenna Ukwa made the assertion when he toured Ndi Agbo, Ndi Etiti and Ndi Elu wards in Nkporo to familiarize and interact with members of his pro-socio-political group, Ikenna Ukwa Progressive Group on Friday 25th July 2025.
Chief Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa while speaking said time has come when all hands must be on deck to formulate initiatives that will be beneficial and impactful to the people of Arochukwu and Ohafia LGAs, adding that he wants to be part of the instrument of change that will bring the needed infrastructural development, basic amenities and empowerment, which will put Nkporo and other communities on the map of development and wheel of progress.
He reiterated the IKENNA & JENN UKWA FOUNDATION and IKENNA UKWA PROGRESSIVE GROUP’s commitment in touching the lives of people.
“I am not holding any elective political position, what I am doing is born out of my goodwill and love for humanity and development and I must ensure every community benefits from all our future developmental plans. My wife, Mrs Jennifer Ukwa has been supportive in every of our projects and we will continue to serve humanity to the greater glory of God”, he added.
The Media and Advertising consultant implored all the members of IUPG and the party , APC to remain unified, steadfast and committed as he is poised to make a difference and change the narratives.
“Already, my wife and I, through our foundation has distributed fertilisers to Nkporo women to boost agricultural produce, provided academic materials to the pupils in various primary schools in Nkporo, and registered NECO free of charge for indigent students in Nkporo, among others. We will do more and very soon, we will announce the next project we will do in Nkporo that will be massive”.
Reacting, the leaders of the group and the party in their various speeches applauded Ikenna Ukwa’s ingenuity and selflessness, and also commended him for carrying every community along in his developmental plans. They assured him of their support in his future ambitions.
“We are proud of you. What you are doing already is commendable and we have decided to join you and make it happen, for we believe that you will do better when given more opportunities to serve humanity. Therefore, we are solidly behind you, just do your part and leave the rest for us”, they said.
