BREAKING!!! NDDC SET TO HANDOVER PROJECT SITE TO CONTRACTOR IN ABIRIBA
The Representatives of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC from Abia State office will today Saturday 26th July 2025 officially hands over the project site to the contractor handling the installation of solar powered street lights in Amaeke and Amaogudu Abiriba in Ohafia LGA of Abia State.
The official site handover which is a sine qua non for the contractor to commence work will be performed at the palace of the Enachioken of Abiriba, HRM, Ezie Barr Kalu Kalu Ogbu; and will be attended by the project sponsor, Hon. Hon Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa , the Senior Legislative Aide to the Senate President, and other notable Abiriba sons and daughters, including stakeholders from the community.
The gesture is part of Chief Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa ‘s “operation light up” Arochukwu & Ohafia LGAs and more communities and clans in the two LGAs that make up Arochukwu and Ohafia federal Constituency will benefit, even as Ebem, Okon, Oboro, Amaekpu, Elu communities in Ohafia and Obinkita Arochukwu has benefitted.
