In a separate development, the President General of Elu Development Union, Mr. Tostar Agwu Emetu, has commenced immediate repairs on houses destroyed in our community, focusing on those that can be handled promptly. He pledges to mobilize all Umu Elu to ensure that every individual whose property was destroyed receives adequate support and repair. We are committed to rebuilding and restoring our community to its former glory.

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Uka Uba Anya who contested in the Udumezeship has sued for peace in Elu and Ohafia in general. He further congratulated the Udumeze, Elder Awa Orji Udonsi, and prayed for peace and tranquility to reign supreme during his leadership. In a remarkable display of goodwill, Dr. Anya has withdrawn his pending matter in court, demonstrating his commitment to peace and unity in our community.
