ABIA LAWMAKER, ETIOKWE, COMMENDS GODA FOR DEVELOPMENTAL STRIDES
The Greater Ohafia Development Authority (GODA), led by its Director General, Engr. Obinna Odum, has received commendation from Hon. Kalu Mba Nwoke, popularly known as Etiokwe, the member representing Ohafia South State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly.
Over the weekend, Hon. Nwoke, accompanied by some members of the 6th Ohafia Legislative Council, embarked on a spot inspection of an ongoing road reconstruction project being executed by GODA in Asaga Ohafia. He expressed satisfaction with the quality of work and commended the Authority for its development initiatives carried out with full commitment.



According to Hon. Nwoke, GODA’s presence and developmental efforts across the five local government areas of Abia North Senatorial District have been commendable, marking a significant shift in rural infrastructure and economic growth. In his speech, he echoed, “GODA is on ground, and they are working.”
He further applauded Governor Alex Otti for his foresight in establishing GODA, stating that the initiative reflects a government that *“knows its onions” and is keenly focused on delivering people-oriented governance.
“The ongoing projects are part of the governor’s broader agenda to reach out to the grassroots,”Nwoke continued.

He thanked His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti, for this timely intervention and urged residents of Ohafia and the wider Abia North zone to rally behind the current administration, stressing that such unity and support are essential for sustainable development across the state.
