University Student Reportedly Rapes Fellow Student, Threatens To Release Nude Video
A student of Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science, and Technology (BOUESTI) in Ikere Ekiti, Femi Bejide, has been accused of raping a fellow student, Ojufun Precious, and later threatening to expose a nude video of her.
Sources told Zagazola Makama that the incident, occurred on April 11, 2025, at about 1205hrs when Bejide allegedly lured the victim to his room and had non-consensual sex with her.
The victim reported the matter to the Ikere Ekiti Area Command on April 14, 2025, stating that Bejide had begun sending threatening text messages on April 13, 2025, demanding that she meet with him again, or he would release the video.
Upon receiving the report, the Dean of Students Affairs at BOUESTI, Dr. Daramola Asoju, intervened and helped in apprehending the suspect.
Police sources said it had launched a preliminary investigation into the case.
