On Orji Uzo Kalu’s Latest Verbiage of Deceit.
The photo optics of Orji Uzo Kalu’s recent clandestine meeting with his clique of strange bed fellows in Abia APC has gradually emerged and trending with dirty strings of how desperately wicked a man’s heart can be. The gang up, it has finally been revealed was how he will deliver Abia State to Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.
He vibrated in this meeting of unlike minds and and unclear conscience that he will not stay aloof and watch Tinubu and APC lose again in Abia State come 2027. What a misplaced fury. The man’s heart is indeed desperate and wicked.
While we may want to dismiss his pent up fury against Dr. Alex Otti and his forward looking New Abia government as the ranting of the unscrupulous, the presence in the meeting of some of OUK’s fiercest political enemies from APC Abia homeland is itself a big irony and story for another day.
The first thing that strikes one’s mind about the trending story is the foolery of same trash, same fling that does not worth one’s time. It is shameful that each time, OUK starts a new shenanigans of lack of political innovation, political ideals, political poaching and pouting innuendo with uncanny idiocy and you see some clap and fall for it.
This to me is classic OUK story of one narrative, one chapter and one book. His promise to oust Alex Otti in 2027 is the same promise made about a certain Mr. Godot that ended with disappointment. OUK is only flying a kite that will soon be gratified by God knows who. We will soon find out.
At about 2017 at the peak of Buhari’s vengeful reign of terror against the Igbos, reminiscent of the reign of Charles the Terrible with scorpions, horse whip, to tame the Igbos for refusing to vote for a failure, OUK suddenly sauntered in with same type of promises as we’re seeing today to deliver Buhari with 90% votes in Igbo homeland.
His company Slok was soon after gratified with a N2 Billion contract to rehabilitate the Umuahia to Ohafia road and was also given some respite on his ongoing trial of his EFCC N7.4 Billion graft case. But when he failed to deliver for Buhari as promised, his case was quickly revived and the rest is history. The same scenario is playing out today as Tinubu’s government found a way to dig out the same case after it somehow technically returned to the courts.
The N7.4 Billion trial now against him is also today hanging like the sword of democles. He will promise Tinubu anything including becoming his gate man. But why is it difficult to advise Tinubu to stop his policy of Igbo exclusion if he wants to earn Igbo votes?. It’s that simple. It is only Tinubu’s policies that will earn him deserving votes in Abia and indeed Alaigbo and not anyone’s promises.
Also OUK and his gang of mutineers should find a way to encourage the positive development at home as a much better deal for all of us than this pejorative enterprise to cause needless disruption and confusion in our state. Abia is in safe hands for now.
