ABIA NORTH CONSULTATIVE ASSEMBLY TO UNVEIL AN EASTER RETREAT FOR THE ZONE’S POLITICAL FUTURE.
A group by the name ‘Abia North Consultative Assembly’ (ANCA) has thrown its weight behind the moves to cohere and bring otherwise divisive political voices of diverse primordial clusters across the five LGAs in Abia North to begin to speak with ‘one voice’ in order to regain our golden days of political leadership of the zone otherwise known as ‘Old Bende’.
ANCA, a massive political coalition machine with extensive networks across the five LGAs has embarked on an unprecedented consultation across the zone to build support for its agenda of integrating various discordant political voices to ensure the zone will no longer be shortchanged in future political arrangements moving forward. No longer will a few individuals or cult heroes dictate for the zone that is known for its political sagacity, intellectualism, industry and resilience.
ANCA wants to use the opportunity of the upcoming Easter retreat tagged “Abia North Easter Retreat” to demonstrate political muscle about its intention to recover Abia North from selfish “cash and carry” politicians who have sat on the political destiny of patriotic and hardworking Abia North citizens.
Stakeholders from Arochukwu/Ohafia, Bende, Isiukwuato and Umunneochi LGAs are already being notified of the Easter Monday meeting expected to be held in Ohafia on the 21st of April, 2025. Among the invitees to the retreat will be His Excellency, Dr. Alex Otti who may be expected to deliver a keynote address and other top government officials of the state, important dignitaries and very important persons and stakeholders from the zone.
A plethora of political organizations, pressure groups, local and international media have indicated interest in participating in the Easter retreat to build support for this epic summit of unity in Abia North.
