HON IKENNA UKWA CHAIRS THE 2025 MOTHERING SUNDAY CELEBRATION OF ST ANTHONY’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, AMAEKPU OHAFIA
The Founder of IKENNA & JENN UKWA FOUNDATION, Hon. Dr Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa was the special guest of honor at the 2025 Mothering Sunday celebration of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Amaekpu Ohafia, on Sunday, March 30, 2025.
Chief Ikenna Nicolas Ukwa while speaking said women are the homebuilders and special breeds endowed with natural strength and resilience, describing their roles in nurturing and Nation building as great virtue, adding that due to the special love he has for mothers, his foundation, IKENNA & JENN UKWA FOUNDATION which he co-founded with his wife, Lolo Jennifer Ukwa prioritizes women’s welfare, providing empowerment, food items, and medical support to those in need.
While charging the women to remain good ambassadors and mothers in their various homes and society at large, said his foundation is mapping out another empowerment plan that will be beneficial to the women in different communities in Abia State.
As the Father of the day and Chairman of the occasion, the ever benevolent and women friendly serial Entrepreneur , media and advertising consultant supported the women financially to enable them to carry out projects in the church and assured the women and the church of his availability anytime they beckon on him.
Responding, the President of the women in the church thanked Hon Ikenna Ukwa for honoring their invitation despite his tight schedules, describing it as a demonstration of the love he has for God and society at large. She expressed appreciation for his huge support, promising the women’s continuous support and prayers in his future endeavors.
