THE EXECUTIVE MAYOR OF OHAFIA LGA, CHIEF ELEANYA OJUU KALU INAUGURATES THE COMMITTEE TO OVERSEE CROWD RANCHING IN OHAFIA LGA.
The official inauguration of the Crowd Ranching Implementation Committee in Ohafia LGA, by the Executive Mayor Chief Eleanya Ojuu Kalu today marks a significant milestone in the region’s agricultural development.
The long term goal is to create an abundance of livestock, making products and derivatives affordable and accessible to low-income consumers in rural and urban areas.
The whole idea is to create a surplus of livestock not just in the local market but statewide and beyond.
Expectedly, this will drive down costs, making livestock products more affordable for all while providing a significant boost to the local economy.
The committee has the following as members:

The mayor charged the committee to hit the ground running as expected and expressed his confidence that the committee will not only meet but exceed the expectations of all stakeholders.
