Governor Alex Otti’s ascension to power in Abia State was not by chance; he came prepared to transform the state. The delay in assuming office due to electoral malpractices proved to be a blessing in disguise. It gave him ample time to study and document the extent of the rot and decay inflicted on the state and its people. This period of preparation enabled him to develop a comprehensive understanding of the challenges facing Abia, allowing him to craft effective solutions to address them.
In less than two years, Governor Otti has demonstrated his commitment to the people, showcasing his dedication to good governance. His achievements have attracted commendations across party lines, earning praise from notable Abians such as Senator Adolphous Wabara, Chief Marc Wabara, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, Dr. Uche Samson Ogah, Dr. Eme Okoro, and Chief Chukwu Nwachukwu, among others. These individuals, from different political parties, have recognized the positive impact of Governor Otti’s policies and programs on the lives of Abians.
