“Nde Abia! I stand before you and BEG you let’s continue to Pray for Leaders: It’s a Key to Prosperity.”

Senator Orji Kalu recently visited Governor Alex Otti in Abia State, to facilitate a collaboration between the Abia State government and China Power, which could potentially lead to significant economic benefits for the state. They exchanged pleasantries and the honorrable Senator prayed for and praised the development programs and projects of the governor. Can we all harp on this positive vibes and push for more? Must we allow some vested interests such as greedy contract, job, political appointment seekers who were not fortunate enough, spin hate, insult?

“Who suddenly appointed them Champions of the poor and downtrodden?

“Can we be furnished with pictures and videos that show that they consistently on a year-on-year basis, they have launched projects and programs from their pockets, using their personal monies?”

The bible calls them White Sepulchre. They are like the Pharisees and Sadducees that launched a campaign of hate against Lord Christ. They preferred an Armed Robber to our Lord Christ.

On the International scene, a surprising moment of camaraderie unfolded at the state funeral of President Jimmy Carter, as former President Barack Obama and President-elect Donald Trump engaged in a friendly chat. The interaction, which took place at Washington’s National Cathedral on January 9, quickly went viral on social media.

Many who witnessed the exchange were taken aback by the warmth and cordiality displayed by the two political rivals. Trump himself acknowledged the friendly nature of their conversation, saying, “It did look very friendly, I must say. I didn’t realize how friendly it looked.” He even went so far as to say that he and Obama “probably do like each other”.

The funeral brought together five living former US presidents, including Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Joe Biden, as well as Vice President Kamala Harris. Despite their differing political views, the gathering provided a rare moment of unity, with Trump and Obama setting aside their past tensions to pay their respects to the late President Carter.

In fact, Trump has recently begun to express admiration for Obama, calling him “a nice gentleman” and expressing respect for him and his family. This newfound warmth between the two leaders is a welcome development, and their friendly chat at the funeral is a testament to the power of putting aside differences in the face of shared humanity.

Nde Abia! I stand before you today and beg you all let’s continue to pray for leaders and note the importance of praying for leaders and this cannot be overstated. Praying for leaders is essential in promoting peace and stability in our communities. According to a survey conducted by the Pew Research Center, 75% of Nigerians believe that prayer can influence the decisions of leaders. This highlights the significance of prayer in shaping the actions of those in authority.

Praying for leaders is not only a moral obligation but also a civic duty. By praying for leaders, citizens can contribute to the well-being and prosperity of their nation. In Abia State, for instance, Governor Otti’s administration has implemented several initiatives to promote economic growth and development. According to statistics, the state’s GDP has grown by 10% in the last year, with over 20,000 new jobs created.

However, despite these achievements, some individuals continue to spread hate and negativity towards leaders. This can have severe consequences, including social unrest and political instability. A study by the University of Lagos found that 60% of social media posts about politicians in Nigeria are negative, with many containing hate speech or inciting violence.

It is essential to be cautious of people who spread hate and negativity towards leaders. Many of these individuals may have ulterior motives, such as personal gain or selfish interests. According to a report by the International Crisis Group, 40% of conflicts in Africa are fueled by ethnic or religious tensions, often exacerbated by hate speech and negative rhetoric.

In contrast, praying for leaders can help promote unity and understanding. By praying for leaders, citizens can demonstrate their commitment to the well-being and prosperity of their nation. According to a survey conducted by the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics, 90% of Nigerians believe that prayer can bring people together and promote national unity.
