GOVERNOR ALEX OTTI ATTENDS THE FUNERAL CEREMONY OF THE MOTHER OF SEN. LEE L. MAEBA AND H.R.M. SAMSON BASI MAEBA ROYAL HOUSE.
Today, November 30th, His Excellency Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, attended the burial ceremony of Late Leka Mrs. Erefori Nawa Basi Maeba, mother of Sen. Lee L. Maeba, who represented the Rivers South-East Senatorial District in the National Assembly and HRM Samson Basi Maeba Royal House, Luwa Community, Nyo-Khana District, Khana LGA Rivers State.
The late Leka Mrs. Erefori Nawa Basi Maeba died on the 5th of September, 2024.
In his letter of Condolence to Sen. Lee Maeba and HRM Samson Basi Maeba Royal House, Governor Otti expressed sadness at the news of the death of their mother. He, however, encouraged them to be “consoled by the fact that she lived a long and fulfilled life and has gone to rest in the Lord’s bosom.” The Governor prayed God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss as they relish the beautiful moments and legacies she left behind.
