Dr. Alex Otti Officially Unveils LUX MUNDI UNIVERSITY, Investiture Of The Chancellor (His Grace ArchBishop Lucius Ugorji) And First Matriculation Ceremony.
The Abia State Governor Dr. Alex Chioma Otti OFR ably represented by the Secretary To the State Government Prof Kalu along with other top government functionaries, yesterday 22nd November, 2024 Unveiled the LUX MUNDI UNIVERSITY, Afara Umuahia, Abia – State. The event was also the investiture of the Chancellor of the University, His Grace ArchBishop Lucius Ugorji, first Matriculation of the university and Foundation laying of H.E. Dr. Ikedi Ohakim Faculty Of Management Sciences Building and H.E. PST. (Mrs) Patience Umo Eno Faculty of Nursing And Allied Medical Sciences Memorial Building.
The Secretary Of the Government Of Abia State along with H.E. Dr. Ikedi Ohakim, Founder/Pro-Chancellor Prof. Gabriel Obiamaraije Chinedum Okenwa, Reps of NUC, Catholic and Methodist Bishops, Other Clergies and dignitaries moved forward and officially unveiled the University Logo which heralded the official opening of the university.
The students were received and administered oath of allegiance to the university.
Goodwill Message from Abia State Governor was read by the SSG. Other Goodwill messages were from H.E Dr. Ikedi Ohakim, His Grace, ArchBishop Lucius Ugorji, Representatives Of NUC, Committee of VCs, Veritas University, Prof. John Kennedy Opara ably represented by our own Dr. Chukwuemeka Ifegwu Eke, and others.
The event concluded with the Foundation laying ceremony at the permanent site.
