The Board of Ogunzu Foundation led by its Chairman – Dr Chukwuemeka Ifegwu Eke today, 21st November 2024, paid a courtesy visit to the Mayor of Ohafia Local Government Area, Honorable Chief Eleanya Ojuu Kalu, to congratulate him on his victory and discuss potential partnerships for people-oriented projects. This collaboration aims to align with the Mayor’s core mandate and beliefs, focusing on initiatives that benefit the community.
Some key areas of focus for these projects include:
Community Development: Partnering with real farmers, not political ones, to understand their needs and provide support.
Empowerment Programs: Organizing focus group discussions and administering questionnaires to gather insights from local farmers.
Rural Development: Implementing initiatives that contribute to sustainable development and improve socio-economic indicators in Ohafia Local Government Area.
The secretariat, led by Madam Esther Abbah, will release a detailed report on the visit soon.
Ohafia Local Government Area has a population of approximately 358,200 people, and initiatives like these can significantly impact their lives. By working together, the Ogunzu Foundation and the Local Government can create meaningful change in the community.
