Senate Confirms Seven Ministerial Nominees
The senate has confirmed the appointment of all seven ministerial nominees of President Bola Tinubu, submitted to the upper chamber last week for accelerated consideration.
The nominees confirmed during the screening include Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, Bianca Odinaka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, Idi Mukhtar Maiha, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, and Suwaiba Said Ahmad, Ph.D. Their names appeared on the Senate’s list for review on Wednesday.
The screening took place at the National Assembly’s Senate chamber, after being postponed from Tuesday.
Previously, President Tinubu removed six ministers, appointed seven new nominees, and adjusted ten ministerial roles.
