Fubara Relocates Rivers Assembly Sitting To Government House
The Rivers state governor, Sim Fubara has ordered the immediate relocation of the house of assembly sitting to Rivers government house.
According to an executive order contained in a memo, the governor noted that the relocation was necessary due to the fire incident that happened at the House of assembly chambers earlier.
His Excellency, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, the Governor of Rivers State, has issued an executive order to temporarily relocate the sitting of the State House of Assembly to the Auditorium of the Administrative section of Government House, Port Harcourt.
This decision follows the unfortunate burning of the hallowed chambers of the State Assembly in October 2023 by hoodlums.
